Reassignment meeting at SE Raleigh

The Wake County school board will hear from parents concerned over reassignments again Thursday night. This will be the second of five meetings before board members go into work session later this month to make any final changes to the three-year proposal. A final vote is expected Feb. 3.

The meeting is at Southeast Raleigh High, 2600 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh. It starts at 6:30 p.m.

Persons should ignore the website saying that signup ends at 11:59 pm on Jan 7. When I called this morning the male person said there are still two more hours for signing up online. While some changes seem to have taken place near Bennett St., it appears that high school students the 1400 block of Raleigh Blvd. are being proposed for Leesville Rd rather than Enloe.
