That's only 2.13/gallon on average. I don't ever remember gas being 2.13 and definitely not below, which would be necessary for the average. Wasn't aware of any type of fuel discounts...?

I have seen two different buses make stops to homes that are on the same road. Why is this? It seems that money is being wasted. Why can't they ride the same bus?

I wonder how much could be saved by putting school districts around the schools rather than bussing for "economic diversity"? Go to the Wake County site and pull up the school district maps. It's eye opening to see how things are done.

From bussing the kids all over Wake county to taking the LONGEST and MOST ROUNDABOUT way to get to a field trip destination. Have you ever followed a bus when your kids are going on a field trip??? Seems like a complete waste of time and gas if they are going to go the long way around town to get somewhere. The kids end up with less time at the field trip destination due to the drivers taking the long way.

Must be so much from bussing the kids all over Wake county *rolls eyes*
