Hamburglar

Y'all remember the Hamburglar don't ya?

He was always trying to make off with Ronald's prized possessions.

Well, I feel like the Hamburglar as I made off with so many great experiences and good times it should be criminal.   But unlike the old Micky D commercials, I'm keepin em.

I've included a number of photos from my meetings and travels, including:

  • Hamburg harbor cruise
  • Hafen City Redevelopment
  • St. Michaelis Church - iconic Hamburg
  • Hinz & Kunzt - a streetpaper written by journalists and sold by the homeless
  • A visit with the US Consul General Duane C. Butcher
  • A meeting with Torsten Giebel with the Hamburg Institute for New Media
  • Other Hamburg Shots

Also, there are some little things that I've been noticing about Europe.  You know, stuff that just isn't quite the same as it is back home...some good, some kooky, and some aggravating.   I'll be posting on that soon...I'm trying to compile a top ten list.  I'm up to 7 now.

WRAL - My comment was totally harmless - there was NOTHING "offensive" in my short and WAS warranted b/c I could NOT understand what this person was talking about, much less take much interest. And if some jerk has nothing better to do than tattletale to you, I could really care less. I have read far more "offensive" posts on these WRAL opinion sites than what I wrote. And honestly, these "opinion" forums are out of control - worse by the day - people hurling personal insults back and forth at each other - absolutely NOTHING to do with the actual story. It irritates that WRAL rakes MY comment over the coals when it should be carefully reading what these idiots say to each other on the sites-you should dress them down for the personal jabs at one another, wasting space and time. We won't be reading online OR watching WRAL newscasts in our home from now on-we will get our news from WTVD - GROW UP WRAL.
