The latest release from Poetic Portraits of a Revolution, a collective of artists from Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh, is a video production that incorporates spoken word poetry, photography, interviews, and footage to document the popular movements in Tunisia. The production is meant to help convey a more comprehensive understanding of the social and political environment on the ground. Through their focus on the human condition and the emotions behind the current events in Tunisia, the group hopes to provide a powerful perspective that is not being covered in most media outlets.
