Durham, N.C. — Durham County parents have an opportunity to weigh in Tuesday night on proposed changes to the school system's bus and bell schedule.
The board of education will hear public comment from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Staff Development Center, 2107 Hillandale Road.
The proposal would offer elementary students with a longer instructional day and a later start time for high school students. Details are available on the Durham Public Schools website.
Parents who can't make the meeting can e-mail comments to 3tier@dpsnc.net.
