A new partnership with Saint Augustine’s University guarantees admission for certain Wake Technical Community College graduates who want to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration or criminal justice, administrators said Thursday.

Under the agreement, the university will accept up to 60 credit hours from a Wake Tech associate’s degree in business administration or criminal justice technology toward a bachelor’s in business administration, and up to 63 credit hours from the associate’s in criminal justice technology toward a bachelor’s in criminal justice.

Eligible students must have a 2.0 grade-point average and a C or better in the transfer courses.

“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Saint Augustine’s University to offer students new opportunities,” Wake Tech President Stephen C. Scott said in a statement. “Partnerships like this one open doors and offer new pathways to higher education and brighter futures that have an impact on our entire community.”
