Martha Cooper
I wanted to write you about my daughter's 2nd grade school teacher Mrs. Cooper. Teaching, in my opinion, is not only academic. It includes social and spiritual aspects as well. The seeds planted by a teacher last a lifetime. Mrs. Cooper is a light to her students. She encourages them and lifts them up. My daughter has struggled with self esteem in the past. Not in Mrs. Coopers class! Mrs. Cooper has a way of allowing her to feel as if she can learn anything, achieve anything and conquer any thing. In Mrs. cooper's class the kids at the back are just as important as the kids in the front. She has a wonderful sense of humor that she actually uses in the class room. My daughter comes home often with funny stories or games that Mrs. Cooper has used in her class room that day. When my daughter had her first basketball game guess who was there cheering her on. Mrs. Cooper was there! When her first brother was born, guess who came to visit. Mrs. cooper did! This special teacher has not only influenced my daughter's life but has influenced mine as well. She makes me want to be a better person. Thank you Mrs. Cooper!
