Cindy Smith & Mrs. Easter

Mrs. Smith has been a wonderful influence on my son. She has worked hard to help him excel, and continuously keeps in contact with me in regards to any issues with my son. He went into her class knowing maybe 3 or 4 words. Now I am proud to say she and her wonderful assistant Mrs. Easter have my child reading on an above average level. Yes, a 1st grade level. It is amazing all of the activities and projects they are doing. Millbrook also is a magnet school. They teach all of the students Spanish starting at kindergarten. Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Easter have both taken an interest in the education and emotional needs of my son and all of the other children. I see this from volunteering and seeing them in action and the care they give to these children regardless of their abilities. Not one child is left out or behind. This classroom should be a model for all others. Their classroom is so warm and inviting. This is actually Mrs. Smith first year with the Wake County Public School System. She came from out of state. I could not have prayed for a better teaching team (Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Easter) for my child. I only hope they continue on together so that my 3 year old has a chance to experience having them as teachers. So a huge thank you to lead teacher Mrs. Smith and assistant teacher Mrs. Easter! We love and appreciate you both so very much.
