I'm convinced that Hilary will run in 2012 against Obama. Here are my reasons:
1) She felt screwed by the Party after the 2008 campaign, she wants payback
2) She craves power
3) She'll be 65 in 2012. She wants the Presidency, she can't wait until 2016 (and 69 years old)
4) I believe she truly dislikes Obama.
5) Obama seems to have gone out of his way to shaft her and the State Dept on more than a few occasions
6) Obama will be vulnerable in the 2012 election. The GOP/Tea Party battles will split the available conservative candidates to second-class names. She could defeat just about any GOP/Tea Party candidate on her own. she could even gather some GOP/Tea Party votes just an an "anti-Obama" statement, just like Obama earned "anybody but Bush/GOP" votes in 2008.
7) She's been separated far enough from the Obama Machine to keep her independent "street cred" for dissatisfied Dem voters
8) She really wants to get back to the White House. She and Bill will stop at nothing to make it happen this time. She and her people were caught unawares by the Obama Machine in 2008. This will not happen again.
9) Bill despises Obama for "stealing his spotlight" as the face of the party.
10) (I can't believe I'm writing this....) She's not that liberal....
