I, Thanos, ruler of Titan, find it imperative to convey some information about myself. As a young citizen of Titan, I grew to love Death in all her forms. Her cold embrace gripped my being from a very young age, never to let go. All my pursuits in this life have been to bring glory to the fair dark maiden of Death. I've been called many things in my life: nihilist, tyrant, misanthropist, God. At one time, I commanded the universe with the Infinity Gauntlet. Such a powerful device granted me power over all aspects of this universe. Godhood would not last long, for the Infinity Gems that granted my desires were scattered amongst the stars for safe-keeping. Even still, Lady Death did not favor one such as I. As I grew older, I learned the error of my ways. Now, still seeking the adoration of Lady Death as any intelligent Immortal should, I go about my business in a more logical and calculating manner. Realizing that the great cosmic balance must remain to hold power-mongerers and despots at bay, I use all my strength and intellect to preserve the peace.
