“Why God don’t………..”
People cry to God, about God, and because of God, we‘re crying about every pitiful cause under the sun. We humans create a bunch of our own traps. Then when the trap is sprung we cry foul. We send up useless prayers to try and compel God to bail us out and make things “right.” We are saying, by implication, “God this is your fault and if you don’t fix it then I am going to quit believing in you. I’m pulling out God, you listening? Here I go God. God, it’s me. I’m outta here. Look here God you think these aren’t real tears here? It’s you or me God. JUST DO IT YOU HEAR?"
Junk we get into will never be bailed out by God. He has told you what you should have done and you didn’t do it. Why? If He cast Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden for disobedience what makes you so special. When He has told you what to do before you get into it why do you turn against his teaching and go off and do just the opposite.
Then it’s crying time. Tears a falling, hearts a pounding “laying it all at the cross” we are doing what we think God wants to see and hear from us. We jump on the prayer line and get out pals to pray for a problem but don’t tell them all the details.
We are only praying, “GOD DO MY WILL IN YOUR NAME!”
