So I taped Dr phil today about dead beat dads and child support. The first guest wants to leave his current job and become a teacher that would allow him to spend more time with his kids BUT if he does go for the lower paying job he is still forced to pay the same amount and he wouldn't be able too so he has to stay at a job working MANY HOURS and less time with his kids.
SO the question is this, if a man wants to take a job making less to be able to spend more time with his kids, don't you think the judge should lower the child support ?
Child support is NOT just about MONEY, child support is also about that parent being with their child and being in their lives.
This is a civil discussion and don ot bash men, women are just as guilty for going after money and not realizing what is important in their childs life, BOTH parents being involved.
