WAKE COUNTY — If you were a business owner and were seeking employment would YOU hire an ex con? Someone who is on probation or parole? Or someone who has served their time in prison and are now free to become a productive member of society? How hard do you think it is for someone convicted of a felony to get a job?
Would you use their past as a reason to NOT hire them or would you give them a break and take a chance? What happens to ALL of these people who can't find jobs because no one would hire them?
By not hiring them after they serve their time do you think you are passing judgement on them?
