Our Golo yard sale is approaching fast, and we are down to the final preparations. The signs - kindly designed by Mimi - are ready, the ad in the News & Observer has been called in, and we have begun to gather donations.
The yard sale will take place at the parking lot of Eastgate Shell, at 4043 Wake Forest Rd, in North Raleigh, at the intersection with Hardimont Rd. We will start at 8:00 am and continue until about 1:00.
We are still in need of folding tables to display some of our items. If you have some we can borrow we would certainly appreciate it. Same goes for plastic sheets we can lay on the ground, since the area is grassy and it might be wet so early in the morning. Also, if anyone has a clothing rack that we can use, we would love to borrow it.
Aside from the donations that we have already discussed a pick-up for, if you wish to drop off items at Eastgate Shell ahead of time, please feel free to do so. On the morning of the yard sale, I will be there around seven, so if you prefer to deliver your donations at that time, it will be fine as well. Just e-mail me to let me know, and I will make sure to meet you.
I am looking forward to meeting many of you next weekend, and I hope the weather will be on our side. Free coffee is provided by Eastgate Shell.
