I have a calling that I must answer... Wait , that isn't my phone?!

RALEIGH —  Geez, I don't even know where to begin. . .

Well first, I must extend my gratitude to all of you, those I truly consider family for answering the call as I truly felt it was far beyond my capabilities. However, God NEVER places more on your plate than you can handle.

It all started as a trip to bring Tesy a new phone charger, as hers had died, but it didn't fix the problem and I told her to simply watch me work my magic.

When I got to Tesy's house last evening, she literally broke down into tears,  It breaks my heart to see someone who is doing her all to provide for her kid to be at her wits end...  Yeah I happened to be at the epicenter of yesterday's mess.  Sure I could have been angry, I could have gone and beat the ever living snot outta the 'guy' (can't use my true choice of words in this venue) but that would have landed nothing more than another visit to downtown Raleigh.  She needed strength, she felt tapped out and hopeless, so I chose to draw that strength from my faith, I hugged her, assuring it would all get better, I'd see to it.  I'm not one to break promises, but this...

Well, this was truly beyond me so I turned to the one I know is always there with me, I prayed as I hugged her that only intensified the tears, however I knew this would come to pass, I just had no clue of how.

Just as we released our embrace, the phone rang and it was Steve.  Once I

It all started as me doing something small, helping her to maintain her line of communication, to doing so much more.

About that line of communication...  This time the phone was ringing for me, Tesy's phone that is... LoL!  It was ms_sure_t, long story short, I gave her some news that set her mind to ease a bit, and made sure she and her daughter got home safely, only to realize just how small a world this is, as I have been to her neighbor's house many times before.

For all this I ask nor expect anything in return.  Well I could use more bandwidth to completely out do Steve, but I'll settle for a "tie" for now (I dun need the upstream bandwidth... pssst... Docsis 3.0 is comin so eat yer heart out Steve, you'll have to bond T3s to keep up with my lowly ol' modem then... upstream AND down! *grins*)

To Jenn... Remember, I'll always be there for you.  I make friends for life, and my love, truly, runs deeper than the sea.
