Male nanny anyone?

I have been thinking all this month and last month and I think I have finally made my decision. I am going to quit my job no matter what. I know I got bills to pay but thankfully I am still single so I think I can take the risk. But my only delima is what to do next? I would hate getting into another 9 to 5 routine job with the same office politics and the same dirty routine life. I am bored of that stuff. Money and security was there but now that is taken away as well. People get paid so less and there is always the constant fear of job loss. I have been thinking hard about this when I met my sister yesterday. She is a full time nanny and loves her job. She recommened that I become a nanny too. Nanny?? Seriously do they even have male nannies, I asked. She said cooly that they do and that male nannies are a fashion statement now a days and most rich families don't care if the nanny is a male or a female as long as the person looks trustworthy and is good with kids. I have always been good with kids and I love being with them to be frank. Strangely enough kids are good with me too. I remember many instances where kids simply stopped crying when I picked them up. So I think I have the gift of the gab. My sister asked me to apply with a nanny service which is what I have planned to do. May be I will apply to 3 or 4 of them for better chances. I am also going to put ads over craigslist and other free sources. Are there any others out there?
