I am employed with a smal business in Raleigh, we are small but we are the best at what we do and we have the largest facility in NC. Anyway Im an Accounting Specialist. Im an hourly employee, this has worked to my advantage (OT) over the past year. I receive the same benefits as salaried employees, such as paid time off, health and dental insurance. Do you know of any reason why I would want to be salaried? I've asked personel why am I hourly and what would be an advantage for me if I became salaried, she didnt have an answer. As things have become slow, I stopped working my 5-6 hrs OT per week, and now Im not even making 40 hours. Hourly VS Salaried, which do you think is best.
