WAKE COUNTY — I was listening to the radio this morning about the election and was shocked and disgusted! Does anyone know how many death threats Barack Obama recieves per day? He recieves approximately 300 death threats a day!! In these days and times that is truly disheartening. When are people going to look beyond skin color and look at the character of a person? Despite all the threats, he still campaigns in open view, shaking hands with people, taking pictures and talking with the American people. If that isn't a testimony on how courageous this man is and how much he wants to bring about change, I don't know what it is. So what if he wasn't a POW, that doesn't make him any less courageous than John McCain!! So what if the color of his skin is darker, that doesn't make him any less qualified!! In all honesty, neither he or John McCain are qualified to lead this country...only past Presidents have the experience to be Presidents of the United States. So, please move past the inexperience complaint!! We, the American people, are craving a change for the better!! If it means Barack Obama is the one to do it, then Hail to the Chief!! I am just so sick and tired of the racist comments and opinions that are being made. It just proves there are still some extremely ignorant individuals in this world.
