On July 2, 2008 at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Barack Obama made the following statement:"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set," he said Wednesday. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."A civilian security force? Does anyone know what Obama is talking about here? And why wasn't this reported by any Mainstream Media organizations (CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN)?I found a reference to comments about Obama's Civilian National Security Force in one newspaper but this idea doesn't seem to be widely known. I'm still waiting for someone to explain Obama's proposal for a civilian national security force and provide a link to a "reputable" source for an explanation. Like I said before Obama fans, this is not going away.
