First of all, polygamy is against the law. Yes, I guess law breakers do need to hide so that they don't end up in prison where they belong. You are questioning freedom of religion; I haven't noticed that you hide your particular religion and neither have you been arrested for it. No one else hides their religion (or lack thereof) on this site. You have the right to at least a 12 th grade education and there are scholarships, grants, and loans to all students who are willing to work to get the good grades needed. That part is a choice. At least you have the opportunity to read the books, regardless of what "information" may or may not be gathered. People in other countries don't even get to read books as their government is afraid that the people will then get "ideas" that the government doesn't want them to have. Our media censored? Check out the media in England; the "royals" can tell the media what may and may not be covered. How censored is that?
What I do have a problem with is that you are all for having a "melting pot" country (as you have stated to me before). That would be fine IF those coming in to America were all LEGAL and had background checks. America received a wake up call on 9/11/01, and that call said "If you are going to allow people from other countries to come in at will, with no background check, and just accept these people at face value, they will attempt to destroy your country." Have you checked the news in the last few months? Have you seen how many illegals have been driving drunk and killing CITIZENS of the U.S.? We would have a few more people around if these ILLEGALS had been in their own country. And why is it so hard to understand that if these people are willing to break ONE law, they will probably break others, because it shows that they have absolutely NO RESPECT for the U.S.
The U.S. has it's problems; other countries have theirs. There is no perfect place to live because some people will find fault everywhere they go. Personally, I am grateful to live here in the good old U.S. of A. I enjoy my freedom and I am thankful for those who leave their families and protect my freedom.
As has been said in various posts on this site, if you don't like it here...Delta is ready when you are and flights go all over the world. If you really feel that the other countries have it better, go check it out for yourself.
