Following are grocery store & drug store hours for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Aldi: CLOSED on New Year’s Day and open from 9 am to 7 pm on New Year’s Eve.
Carlie C’s: Open regular hours during New Year’s.
CVS: Most CVS stores are open regular hours during New Year’s. Some CVS pharmacies are open on New Year’s Day and hours vary by store. Check with your specific location to verify their hours.
Dollar General: Most stores are open regular hours during New Year’s.
Earth Fare: Open 7 am to 7 pm on New Year’s Eve and open 9 am - 6 pm on New Year’s Day at both Triangle locations.
Food Lion: Open regular hours during New Year’s.
Harris Teeter: Open regular hours during New Year’s.
Kmart: Open regular hours during New Year’s.
Kroger: Open regular hours during New Year’s.
Lidl: CLOSED on New Year’s Day and open regular hours on New Year’s Eve.
Lowes Foods: Open regular hours on New Year’s Eve and open 7 am (instead of 6 am) on New Year’s Day at most stores.
Publix: Most Publix locations in the Raleigh area are open from 7 am – 9 pm on 12/31 and 1/1. The pharmacy is closed on 1/1/18.
Rite Aid: Most Rite Aid stores in the Triangle are open until 6 pm or 7 pm on Sunday, 12/31. Most 24 hour stores are open regular hours. On Monday, 1/1/8, most Rite Aid stores are open regular hours. Check with your specific store to verify. Pharmacy hours vary so call to confirm.
Sprouts: Open 7 am – 8 pm on New Year’s Eve. On New Year’s Day, they are open regular store hours.
Target: Many Target stores are closing early on Sunday, December 31. The hours vary by location so check out Target.com for the hours for your specific store. Most Target stores will be open regular hours on New Year’s Day, 1/1/18.
The Fresh Market: Most of The Fresh Market locations in the Triangle are open on New Year’s Eve from 8 am – 8 pm and on New Year’s Day from 10 am - 7 pm.
Trader Joe’s: CLOSED on New Year’s Day and they are closing at 6 pm on New Year’s Eve.
Walgreens: Most stores are open regular hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Most Walgreens pharmacies are CLOSED on New Year’s Day, according to their website. Call your specific location to verify.
Walmart: Open regular hours during New Year’s.
Whole Foods Market: Most Triangle area Whole Foods are open on New Year’s Eve from 8 am – 8 pm (Wade Ave location is open from 7 am – 8 pm). On New Year’s Day they are open from 10 am – 8 pm.
