New SavingStar produce offer for bananas!

Posted March 25, 2014

There is a new SavingStar.com healthy product discount offered every Tuesday!

This week you can save 20% off any single purchase of loose bananas at participating retailers! Only valid on a single purchase of loose, unwrapped bananas. Valid on purchases up to $10 (maximum $2 reward). Offer valid from 3/25/14-3/31/14.This offer is not eligible on produce weighed and tagged using a produce scale prior to checkout.

Click HERE to load this offer to your SavingStar.com account and then check back every Tuesday for a new healthy offer.  Remember, the discount does not come off at the register. Read the details below about how this cash back program works.

New to SavingStar? Here is how it works:

SavingStar.com allows you to register your store reward cards and then load digital coupons to your store reward card. What is unique about this program is that the coupon discount does not come off at the register. The savings are added to your SavingStar account and when it reaches $5, you can cash the savings in for a gift card. You can choose to receive an Amazon gift card, have the money deposited into your Paypal account or checking account or donate it to AmericanForests.org.

When you sign up for the program, you will enter the reward card numbers for the reward cards you wish to register. Then, they will automatically link the eCoupons you select to all of your cards. Participating stores in our area include CVS, Rite Aid, Harris Teeter, Lowes Foods, Food Lion and Kroger. They also have iPhone and Android apps available.

According to their website, new coupons will become available at the first of every month. Savings will usually show up in your account between 2 days and 2 weeks depending on how long it takes the stores to give SavingStar the information. These coupons will not double. Although it does not say on the site, you should be able to use paper coupons with no issue in addition to these SavingStar.com coupons.

I have all my cards registered and I once got credit for one item at Food Lion but that is it... frustrating I guess I need to keep my receipts and contact them directly

My SavingStar only takes about a week to go through. HT used to take the longest, but now it seems like Lowes Foods takes longer, maybe a week to two weeks at most. And anything I buy at CVS or Rite Aid usually posts within 48 hours!

Faye, how long does it take for your savings to be posted. I've purchased stuff 3 or 4 weeks ago with nothing. It's getting frustrating waiting. I realize it says 7-30 days but I almost want to not do it because it takes so long and I just don't have time to fool with it. HELP!

Oops my mistake - FL is $1 off $5 produce; Kroger has one $1 off $4 produce in the valued customer envelope

    Thanks faye !
This will match up nicely for me with the $1 off $4 produce coupon at Food Lion that expires today
