New Pinehurst golf course to open in 2024
Pinehurst resort announced its first new golf course in nearly three decades.
Posted — UpdatedPINEHURST, N.C. — Pinehurst Resort has announced its first new golf course in nearly three decades.
Pinehurst No. 10 will be about four miles south of the main clubhouse.
The resort's social media page showed drone footage of the land, about 900 acres.
Architect Tom Doak will design the course. Doak said it will be bigger, bolder, and more dramatic than other Pinehurst courses.
It's expected to open in the spring of 2024, right before the U.S. Open returns to Pinehurst No. 2.
