FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Holiday Inn Boudeaux & Conference Center in Fayetteville is under new ownership and management.

Summit Investment Management LLC, of Denver, Colo., recently acquired the property, and has secured K Partners Hotel Management to manage the property.

The companies plan extensive renovation in the coming months.

Effective Friday, the facility will become two separate Wyndham Family hotels: Ramada Plaza, a full-service hotel with 195 rooms that will include the property’s 32,000-square-foot conference center; and Baymont Inn & Suites, a select service hotel with 100 rooms.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the Fayetteville community,” Mary Hill, senior vice president of sales and marketing for K Partners, said in a statement Tuesday. “Everyone has a connection or a story from this hotel’s glory days. It’s our desire to once again make this 'the place' to be whether you’re traveling or hosting an event – big or small."

Shawn Kvernen, vice president of hotel operations for K Partners, said the extensive renovations will include a shared front desk for both properties. The guestrooms, lobby, restaurant and lounge will be updated.

The renovations will take about a year to complete.
