Wee-Arts in Chapel Hill

Michelle Schooff, half of the team behind the now closed My SweetArts, has launched a new program that focuses on music in Chapel Hill.

Wee-Arts includes music and movement for young children and their adults. Schooff, a mom of three, has more than three decades of music performance. She leads sessions in acoustic guitar and an absolutely beautiful voice, along with fun instruments.

For the last six years, she's been writing fun and original kids songs. She's also the music teacher at two preschools in Chapel Hill.

Schooff holds degrees in music, art and drama and spent a dozen years working in the music industry in London before becoming a stay-at-home mom and moving to Chapel Hill.

Her programs operate out of Christ Church in Southern Village and University Mall, both in Chapel Hill.

Her winter program is going on now. It's well attended, but spots do open up when participants are sick or traveling. Email Schooff at michelle@weearts.com or info@weearts.com to check availability.
A spring camp, a drop-off program for kids ages 3 to 6, also is planned in March.
