RALEIGH, N.C. — This holiday weekend features one sequel and one family-friendly film about penguins.
Horrible Bosses 2 (Comedy, R, Starring Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, Jennifer Aniston)  - After barely escaping with their lives when their plans to murder their bosses goes out of control, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide that they'll be better off launching a business of their own. But a slick investor has other plans, and when he manages to snake their successful venture right out from underneath them, the three friends launch a not-very-well-thought-out plan to kidnap the investor's adult son and trade him for control of their company.
Penguins of Madagascar (Animated Comedy, PG, Starring Tom McGrath, Chris Miller, Christopher Knights, Conrad Vernon) - Super spy teams aren't born... they're hatched. Discover the secrets of the greatest and most hilarious covert birds in the global espionage biz: Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private. These elitists of the elite are joining forces with a chic undercover organization, The North Wind. Led by handsome and husky Agent Classified (we could tell you his name, but then... you know). Together, they must stop the villainous Dr. Octavius Brine from destroying the world as we know it.

There are three more films coming out this holiday week, but in limited release.

The Imitation Game (Drama, PG-13, Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Allen Leech) - This is the tale of English mathematician and logician, Alan Turing, and how helped crack the Enigma code during World War II.
Before I Disappear (Drama, Unrated, Starring Shawn Christensen, Fatima Ptacek, Emmy Rossum, Paul Wesley) - At a very low point in his life, Richie gets a call from his estranged sister, asking him to look after his 11-year-old niece, Sophia, for a few hours. - IMDB
The Babadook (Horror, Unrated, Starring Essie Davis, Noah Wiseman, Daniel Henshall, Hayley McElhinney) - A single mother, plagued by the violent death of her husband, battles with her son's fear of a monster lurking in the house, but soon discovers a sinister presence all around her. - IMDB
