My receipt for the colgate/palmolive deal showed the credit (broken down per item) in the main portion of the receipt. For example, I bought two of the 10 oz Soft Soap Pump bottles of liquid soap is this is how my receipt looked:
    2@$3.69 Softsoap Vintage PC $7.38
2@ $1.19 (this is the sale price savings, not the instant credit)
SC 529646 VIC SAVINGS $2.38 (total evic sale savings)
SC VIC SAVINGS $1.36 (that is the portion of the $3.00)

I had bought two colgate 360 toothbrushes as well, and their portion of the $3.00 instant savings came off the same way, credited with $1.64

It's confusing as normally an instant savings at the register would show up in the coupon section of your receipt as a single $3.00 total.

In my Durham area N&O, I found it on the next to the last page of the SS insert. In my friend's Burlington area N&O, it was on a single sheet page near the middle of the SS insert. In both, there were 2 Fisher Qs printed side by side at the top of the page: one was for $1 off Fisher snack nuts 4 oz or larger, and the other was for $1 off 4 Fisher trail mix 3 oz or larger. The Fisher nut ad filled the rest of the single page layout. Hope you find yours!

Can someone tell me where the Fisher nuts coupon in this week's SS? I can't seem to find it.

As PR has noted below, "Check your receipt though, it doesn't come off as a $3 single credit, each item is credited a portion of the $3. That's how it showed up on my receipt for the Colgate/Palmolive deal."

Because each item is credited a portion of the $3, it's not at all obvious, but if you're certain you bought 3 qualifying items, and have looked carefully at the receipt (and with my tired brain scenario, used a calculator) you may find that not only were these items free after the MQs doubled, but they may have even been a money-maker. Do check the criteria for sizes, varieties, etc. at the HT promo site though, because humans place the stickers on the shelf near the items, and it's possible that a sticker might have been misplaced. We all make mistakes sometimes, but if that's the case, CS would want to know so that it could be corrected.

I think ALL the stores are cracking down on the policy. I have also noticed alot of new faces at the stores I shop at. Also the people at customer service aren't friendly. I got 3 of the Colgate tooth paste that had the sign in front of them and the 3 bucks didn't some off. The Wifi in the store wasn't working for me to verify i had the correct ones. And the people at CS were very rude. I only asked because one of the blogs I follow people said that the 3.00 wasn't coming off. I just said thank you and left because overall they were free. I didn't feel like having a show down bout who was right.

Kudos to you rduwxboy. I saw a couple of coupon scanners a few super doubles events back. I was not able to approach anyone in the HT at the time but I emailed corporate to notify them. I have never heard back from HT regarding this. These ladies were actually just asking to do multiple transactions at the same cash register and the HT did not seem to care.

I caught and confronted a coupon scammer this morning at HT. A lady shopping had 2 carts. She stashed cart 2 and checked out so I decided I would watch her. She came back in and got cart 2 and went to another cashier on the far end. She had the same items in both carts. As she checked out I told the cashier she just bought the same items and she seemed confused. The woman became angry saying she hadn't been there yet. The security person appeared and the woman's story then changed she was buying items for her grandmother. They graciously apologized to her she couldn't purchase this and to have a nice day. I plan to call Harris Teeter to tell them about this - I'm sick of the coupon scammers on Sundays. They wipe the stores clean of merchandise that honest people want.

    zofnasm,

I agree with privilegesrevoked regarding doubling coupons beyond the value of the product. I have not noticed that on my Clayton HT receipts. For example today, I had a rain check for the Gear Speed Stick for $1.99. I purchased three and used my $2 off each coupons. They had to hand ring the coupons at $1.99 with no doubling which is what I expected them to do. I did, however, get the Zaver credit which made this a $ maker item in the end.
