Harris Teeter store in Clayton, NC

The first Harris Teeter to come to Johnston County opened today in Clayton! There will be multiple events as part of the Grand Opening week including a 10% discount all week long! I was there this morning for the ribbon cutting and loved chatting with so many fellow Smart Shoppers! Here are some pictures of many of them!

The store is one of the nicest Harris Teeter locations I have seen. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and they did have extra coupons for $10 off a $50 purchase at Customer Service.

Grand Opening Specials

Thanks to everyone's comments below, we know that many Clayton residents have received flyers in the mail for $10 off a $50 purchase, as they usually do for new store openings.  If you did not get the flyer, but live near there, just ask if they have any extras at customer service at the new store.

In addition, all week at the new Flowers location, shoppers get an additional 10% off with their Vic card!

As Linda posted below, there is Pharmacy promotion, as well: For each new and transferred prescription get $20.00 off you next grocery purchase. Offer good through 3-31-14 (does not include supplies or services paid for in whole or in part by any government program including medicaid and medicare, per government regulations).

There will be multiple events as part of the Grand Opening week including:

Sept. 20-22: e-VIC mobile on-site signing-up customers
Sept. 27-29: Harris Teeter Ice Cream Truck on-site, free samples
Oct. 4-6: Harris Teeter Rancher Mobile Grill on-site, free samples

The Flowers Crossroads Harris Teeter will be open 24 hours, and the Harris Teeter pharmacy will be open seven days per week.

Location

The store is located at:

Flowers Crossroads
67 Flowers Crossroads Way
Clayton, N.C. 27527

You can see more information at HarrisTeeter.com.

If you head over to the new store on Wednesday, let us know what you think. If they have any special deals available, I will post them.

Thanks to Flowers to build a great store in Clayton. Without the Flowers name the town would be just another pass through with out any thought. Flowers has put Clayton on the map!!!!!! SSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than ANOTHER Foodlion!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I would have loved to have met you this morning! I LOVE that JoCo now has a Harris Teeter... I'm originally from Minneapolis, MN and have missed having anything that closely resembles my MN Faves such as Byerly's, Lunds or Kowalski's (Kowalski's has been in several movies including Dirty Old Men). The MEAT counter caught my eye and I couldn't resist ordering a few things from the meat counter... Ground Buffalo, Rack of Ribs and I'm making pulled pork in a week for a large get together and loved the deal on the Pork Shoulder! Looking forward to Kabob's on the grill tomorrow night. Even though I only had 5 coupons for the items I was purchasing (and couldn't find a few others). Even with that, my bill was over $160.00 and with the HT discounts, BOGO and the coupons I had I saved about 50% on my bill.

Happy the Johnston County crew has a store closer to you. It sounds like you all let HT know we love them. I hope to get by there soon.
