NCSU student robbed on campus

Two men assaulted a student and stole his backpack on the North Carolina State University campus Monday evening, police said.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police said two men assaulted a student and stole his backpack on the North Carolina State University campus Monday evening.

Campus police said the assault and theft happened near Wood Hall, off Western Boulevard, around 5 p.m. The men ran toward Pullen Road, away from campus.

Police described one man as having a light complexion, with a red hat, white shirt and a tattoo on the right side of his neck. The other has a dark complexion, with a green striped polo shirt and blue jeans.
