NCSU student arrested at Governor's Mansion
State Capitol Police said they arrested a man who scaled the wall of the Governor's Mansion in downtown Raleigh early Friday.

State troopers called police around 2 a.m. after seeing a man climbing over the wall. Officers arrested him in the yard of the mansion.
Alan Connor Herndon, 21, was charged with first-degree trespassing.
Herndon told officers he was looking for a place to urinate and was trying to find his way back to the North Carolina State University campus.
The N.C. State online directory lists Herndon as a junior from Blowing Rock.
He was placed in the Wake County jail under a $500 secured bond.
Gov. Beverly Perdue was asleep at the mansion at the time of the arrest, according to spokeswoman Chrissy Pearson.
Pearson said she doesn't think the intruder was targeting Perdue.
