NCCU junior found dead in dorm room

A North Carolina Central University junior was found dead in his dorm room Tuesday.

Kewanne Malik Lee, 22, was studying Health Education and was a involved on campus in the Association of Students for A Better Africa and Hope Mime Ministry, the school said.

A news release on Lee's death called it "sudden" and "untimely" but did not explain how he died or who discovered his body.

According to school policy, the Durham police department will investigate Lee's cause of death, but a spokeswoman there said there is no reason to believe it is suspicious.
