NC Wanted: Police continue searching for three men who robbed 86-year-old man
An 86-year-old man was beaten and robbed last year by three men who have yet to be identified.
Posted — UpdatedGeorge Webb said heard a noise at his back door. When he opened the door three armed men barged inside his home.
Webb said the men were armed with blue tire irons and that he was held down by one assailant, while the other two rummaged through his apartment.
“One of them would occasionally brush my hair with the tire iron as to say, ‘We’re still here,’” Webb said.
The suspects took off with this wallet, according to Webb.
Webb suffered cuts on his right ear, and bruises on his face, neck and hands.
The crime outraged the Haymount community. They showed their support with a gift for Webb and his dog.
With no arrests in the case, his family decided to move Webb out of state.
