— Authorities are pursuing new leads in the international search for Cesar Armando Laurean, according to NC Wanted.

He is the fugitive marine accused of murdering fellow marine Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach in Onslow County. She was 8 months pregnant at the time of her death. Her body was found burned and buried in Laurean's back yard.

"We believe this new information is good information. We also understand if he (Laurean) voluntarily left this country, he could also re-enter it at any point,” Capt. Rick Sutherland with the Onslow County Sheriff's Office told NC Wanted.

WHy would this man want to come back to USA? If he is caught in Mexicol , USA must agree to no death penalty. Anyone who has ever spent time in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajauto, Puerto Vallarta, or any of a myriad of gorgeous Mexican citites knows that it is very easy to live on very little in a very comfortable way in Mexico.

Here is dataclerk chiming in again! Knew it was too good to be true! Turn her loose.. she will find that scoundrel! HAHA.. By the way.. dataclerk.. are you one of those nosey neighbors that sits at home all day watching soaps and quilting while waiting for the Maalox to kick in?

gafan...I agree, he's gone, maybe in S. America by now.

He COULD re-enter this country, but why would he? Unless he does decide to come back here (say, to visit his wife) he will never be caught.

I agree with data clerk! SOMEONE knows where he is. This is so tragic for both the victim's and suspect's families, 2 people so young, that had the rest of their lives ahead of them.

dataclerk, you are correct, sooner or later he will drop his guard and get caught. Meantime he will always be looking over his shoulder every minute and after a while become paranoid about everything.

Somebody know where this murderer and coward is. Start talking to his family and close friends. He is in contact with someone. Also someone is giving him a place to stay and food. Sooner or later he will be caught.

    "Give it up, he's gone"

I said the same thing about Eric Rudolph. Hopefully we'll be wrong again.
