RALEIGH, N.C. — Three North Carolina cities – Garner, Dunn and Thomasville – were named 2013 All-America Cities this weekend at a national competition. Congratulations!
Ten cities were given this distinction, and North Carolina was the only state to have more than one winner.
Finalists were selected based on examples of community-wide initiatives and problem-solving efforts that engage the public and in particular honor and benefit veterans and military families.
