I guess there is more expected in the near future. Has anyone noticed all of the large, multi-family complexes being built now? I can't believe it, in the near future there will be thousands of apartment's, townhouse's available for occupancy.

Most of them are built by out of state developer's.

It seems like the building boom is back in some ways. I hope it'a not to fast, to soon.

And this is Good news to the true NC natives of this once great state.Just means a lot of overcrowding and gobbling up more farmland and woods to build ugly subdivisions and apartment complexes sticking people in them like rats in walls.
Guess its time to move to a more desolate place to live where people aren't stuck right up under you.

We welcome the continued influx of educated and progressive people to our State! I saw this on the news this morning- educated, progressive , highly-paid people coming to mainly RDu, Charlotte, Asheville and Wilmington.

The metro regions are soon going to topple the statewide elections to blue. Welcome to North Carolina!

"So why are taxes being increased? Somone is not paying their share."

Gosh, our legislature decreased our taxes from a high of 7.7% to 5.8%. Of course, you should not count all of the other taxes and fees that went up. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain...

Some one beat me to it, but I'm guess it's a lot higher due a large group not responding

If somebody did not respond, how did they get counted?
