— Nash County sheriff's deputies have arrested a Nashville man in the shooting death of his 27-year-old girlfriend on Friday.

Investigators said Monday that Daniel Nathan Gregory, 21, got into an argument with Lindsay Marie Glore at his home at 3576 N.C. Highway 58 South.

The fight escalated, and the two struggled over a gun, deputies said. The gun discharged, and a bullet struck Glore, killing her, they said.

Deputies initially charged Gregory with second-degree murder, but the charge was later upgraded to first-degree murder. He was being held without bond Wednesday in the Nash County Jail.

No need to feel sorry for him. This is not his first run in with the police. He is well known in the area. Finally gonna get him off the streets for a while.

Why are you sorry for him....he chose to be in the position he's in....his girlfriend and her family didn't. I do however feel for his family ie mom, dad etc.
