Do you really think that weed dealers would just go legit and start working a 9-5 if it were legal? No, they would just start selling other drugs. Everything would stay the same, you just couldnt hang some of it marijuana anymore.

This is serious and those who make light of this work need to deal with the out come of broken people..Dope is Dope.

Legalize it and problem solved? I've still never heard a valid reason to legalize marijuana -- people make that stupid statement without ever backing it up.

What problem will be solved? The fact that people won't get arrested for it...because by that same idiotic logic, let's just legalize everything.

Wow... looks like alot of pot smokers here. Dude lets just legalize everything and live in harmony. How about the ecstasy? that harmless too.

ballyhoo21: legalize it and problem solved. Would get rid of dealers as well.

"For all of you that think marijuana dealers are harmless look at Edwardo Wong who killed a trooper and tried to kill a deputy."
This statement just proves the argument that if pot was decriminalized, fewer people would die over a weed that grows from the ground.

What is "maintaining a house for blah, blah, blah" all about? Is
that some kind of manufactured charge, or what?

With all these pot busts going on over the past few weeks, it good to know that real crimes have apparently been eradicated.

Sure got that right. There's a bill in congress now to remove federal penalties for marijuana, and leave it to the states. People should write their congresscritters and urge them to pass this resolution.

If you take the illegality out of marijuana, you'll take away the crime, money, and major distraction for law enforcement as well.

"For all of you that think marijuana dealers are harmless look at Edwardo Wong who killed a trooper and tried to kill a deputy. He is a convicted felon and is being charged with intent to sell and deliver marijuana as well as ecstasy... not so harmless it seems"

if the drugs weren't illegal, he wouldn't be selling because he wouldn't be making any money, and he wouldn't be shooting at officers, because the officers wouldn't be coming after him. not for drugs at least. so that argument doesn't hold any water.
