Nash County man killed when vehicle flips
A Nash County man died Thursday night when his vehicle hit a culvert and overturned several times, authorities said.
Posted — UpdatedSIMS, N.C. — A Nash County man died Thursday night when his vehicle hit a culvert and overturned several times, authorities said.
Dwayne Mitchell Bailey, 21, was westbound on U.S. Highway 264 Alternate about a mile west of Sims at about 9:30 p.m. when his vehicle ran off the left side of the road, hit a driveway culvert, struck six mailboxes and flipped, authorities said.
No details as to the cause of the wreck were available Friday.
