<b>SPRING HOPE, N.C.</b> — A home in Nash County was destroyed by a fire on Friday night.

One person was at home when the fire started but was able to get out safely.

The Red Cross is helping the residents find shelter for the night.

Firefighters said the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, but it appeared to be an accident.
