N.J. Murder Suspect Caught in Fayetteville

A man wanted in connection with a shooting death in New Jersey was arrested by police Friday in Fayetteville.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man wanted in connection with a shooting death in New Jersey was arrested by police Friday in Fayetteville.

Lateef Livingston, 28, of 487 7th Avenue, Newark, N.J., was seen running from a residence in the Massey Hill area. A foot chase ensued and Livingston was later caught while trying to flee in a vehicle on Center Street.

Livingston was transported to Cumberland County Jail, according to the United States Marshals Service, Eastern District of North Carolina.

Livingston was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Khalif Logan in December 2007. Logan was shot multiple times with an AK-47 assault rifle.
