N.C. State Fair: Kids can spend rainy day prepping for these contests
If your kids are stuck inside on this rainy day and weekend, there are at least two State Fair contests that they can still enter - if they are so inclined.

We're five days away from the N.C. State Fair, which opens on Thursday and runs through Oct. 23.
If your kids are stuck inside on this rainy day and weekend, there are at least two State Fair contests that they can still enter - if they are so inclined.
They are the the kids cookie decorating contest and the kids sugar cube building contest. Both are designed for ages 4 to 12.
