These people have nothing better to do than to stand out there and protest...

Oh - they were laid off - no wonder they have more time than brains.

That seems very preemptive since I didn't know we were at war with Iran...........how about "No War On Lichtenstein"? I am all for that.

davido, you are right about the issue of trusting our leaders. i'll give ya that, hands down, but the thing is, people like me and you, we arent the deciding parties of whether we go to war or not. i think it stinks that we dont have no more say so in issues than we do, its just the way it is. all we CAN do is hope the best decision is made

Where's the coverage of the group supporting our troops?

  • davido Aug 4, 2008

"trust our leaders and pray for peace."

Well, praying for peace is a great idea, but trusting our leaders has not served us well in the recent past. That trust was betrayed in the lead up to the war with Iraq, over and over again. Now we are asked to support another preemptive war, because Iran is developing their military capabilities that could be used against us, Israel, and others. This is a rerun of the argument for war with Iraq, with the Iranian flavorings of course. How much of our tax money is going to Iraq again? How much more do we wish to spend opening another front? How many more of our men and women will be killed? Most importantly, are there other options available than military?

Ah yes in America where even the clueless, have protected liberties.

From the take on the comments posted here, I know a few of you are aware of Iran's latest testing methodology.

First big clue why was Iran test launching missles of a "Freighter?!"

Second big clue: why were the tests detonating at a high altitude, after launch, instead of the traditional method of at a lower altitude?

Can you say EMP nuclear detonation, boys and girls? Electro Magnetic Pulse, (EMP) detonation. No one would be killed, but the ability to generate any form of electricity would be gone. So America would revert to a 19th century environment, which would slowly kill us through a myriad of tragedies. After the latest stunt in DC by Pelosi, does anyone else think she is just like the Iranian Leader?

The only thing that worries me about these protestors, I hope none of them are school teachers. Becuase if they are, that is where the most harm can be done to us by them.
