My SweetArts starts new creative movement class in Chapel Hill

My SweetArts, the music and art program for children in Chapel Hill, will launch a creative movement class for boys and girls ages 3 to 5 next week.

The six-week program runs July 3 to Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Wednesdays, at University Mall. It's a drop-off program. The cost is $96 for all six classes.

Here's a description: Students will explore fun and creative ways to move their bodies through space while learning about concepts such as shapes, directions, tempo, and levels. Fun beach-themed activities will carry through the 6-week course. The best thing is that it is a drop-off class so parents can shop and pamper themselves at University Mall during the class!
