RALEIGH, N.C.Hopscotch Music Festival is right around the corner and WRAL On-Air Promotion Manager Jay Yovanovich is a huge fan of the festival. Here are his five must-see bands at Hopscotch:
Toon & the Real Laww, Thursday at City Plaza, 7 p.m.

These guys put on a show. Their free-flowing style of hip-hop is infectious. Really thrilled these local guys get to play on the Main Stage before De La Soul.

Reigning Sound, Thursday at The Pour House, 12:30 a.m.

I've always been a huge fan of Greg Cartwright (of The Oblivians). Reigning Sound's 2004 album, "Too Much Guitar," stayed in my car CD player for nearly an entire year. Can't wait for this one.

Spoon, Friday at City Plaza, 8:30 p.m.

What can I say about Spoon that hasn't already been said? They're legends. Britt Daniel has the best voice in rock n' roll. "A Series of Sneaks" is one of my top five albums of all-time. In my opinion, this is the best headliner in Hopscotch history.

Potty Mouth, Friday at Slim's, 12:30 a.m.

Love their surf-punk vibe.

White Lung, Saturday at Kennedy Theater, 12:30 a.m.

Why not end Saturday night with some rambunctious punk music?

Tell us in the comments section on the right - which bands are you excited to see at Hopscotch?
