As part of the downtown Raleigh museum's regular Thursday evening Science Cafes, this week's topic is Adventurous Math for the Playground Crowd.
Thursday's session focuses on how parents, teachers and communities can help kids learn advanced math and offers more information about the Moebius Noodles Project.
The talk starts at 7 p.m. and is followed by a Q&A session at The Daily Planet Cafe in the Nature Research Center. It's free.
