Murder charge filed in Raleigh hit-and-run

Raleigh police charged a Cary man with second-degree murder Monday in the June hit-and-run death of Natalie Chidlaw.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police charged a Cary man with second-degree murder Monday in the June hit-and-run death of Natalie Chidlaw.

Adetoye Taoheed Adekanmbi, 33, of 103 E. Chalfont Way, was arrested at his home Monday. He also faces two counts of felony hit-and-run and one count of driving with a revoked license. 

His bond amount was not immediately released. 

Chidlaw, 18, died after she and her friend, Meghan Clark, also 18, were hit by a sedan on Hillsborough Street near Dixie Trail on June 15.
