A wreck involving multiple vehicles caused big delays for more than an hour early Wednesday on Interstate 40 East in Garner.

GARNER, N.C. — A wreck involving multiple vehicles caused big delays for more than an hour early Wednesday on Interstate 40 East in Garner.
Authorities responded to the scene, at Exit 306 near U.S. Business 70, at about 5:30 a.m.
Crews closed the highway entirely for about 45 minutes. The road reopened to traffic at 7 a.m.
No information about the cause of the wreck or any potential injuries has been released.
