Multi-car wreck closes U.S. 64 in Cary

— Eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 64 were closed at Gregson Drive in Cary while officials worked to clear an accident that involved at least six vehicles.

At least one person was injured badly enough to be taken to a hospital. No information about the vehicles, drivers or passengers was immediately available.

Town of Cary officials predicted that delays would last until about 8 p.m.

    That location, it's (unfortunately) very likely to be agents of American Airlines trying to get to or from work. There is a reservation center on Gregson dr. . With the impending snow storm, I'm sure that they are calling in as many agents as possible. I hope that I'm wrong. Be safe out there
