Posted August 31, 2013

— A 52-year-old Raleigh man died Saturday after injuries he sustained in a wreck on Wake Forest Road near Creekside Drive, Raleigh police said.

According to investigators, Bradley Lawrence Pelletier was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle north on Wake Forest Road at about 12:15 a.m. when he was hit by a car driven by Lakesiha Yolanda Jones, of Sanford.

Jones, who was traveling southbound on Wake Forest Road, was attempting to turn left onto Creekside Drive when she hit Pelletier. Witnesses told police Pelletier had a green light.

Emergency crews took Pelletier to WakeMed, where he died from his injuries.

Jones, 25, was charged with DWI and failure to yield the right of way.

No other information was released.

There are too many people getting killed by drivers of cars. They should be punished.

Brad WILL be missed completely by so many, myself included. I pray that justice will find her guilty of manslaughter or 2nd degree murder. She knew she had been drinking and shouldn't have driven and maybe if she would have thought twice Brad would still be alive. We have all done things we shouldn't have, but for me her picture is speaking a million words and it is NOT showing any signs of, "oh my gosh... what have I done?" Instead its screaming.... why am I here. For that alone there seems to be no regret other than her night was cut short. Well, my friends LIFE was cut short... show some emotion for his family... for your soul!
