Sorry to hear a fellow rider has passed. God bless.

"How many more stories like this has to be reported before people realize that motorcycles are just death scooters?"

So? They're not much worse than what are being past off as some cars today. Your choice, your life style.

God bless this rider and his family!

Ctkane, that's not true. There are many factors that have to be looked at for this. Check like a pilot does a pre-flight check, a biker has to do pre-ride check. Are you feeling physically and mentally capable of riding at that moment? Did he check his gear? Did you do a pre-check on your bike (TCLOCS) A reasonable rider knows when they can ride. Riding isn't for everybody.
